Photo ©2003 Frank H Phillips, All Rights Reserved It took me the longest time to learn what kind of bug this is. Turns out it's a nymph (that's a "baby" in bug terms) plant hopper. You can tell by the hump on his back. What I love most about this little fellow are his googly eyes and nautilus-like shell that make him look more like a hermit crab than a bug.
